Service Description

Haiku poetry is rooted in observing the present moment in nature. It is an accessible way for anyone to express the beauty of the natural world. Come, slow down amongst the trees and learn this simple, yet beautiful ancient way of interacting with the natural world. You'll be guided in simple invitational ways to cultivate your curiosity and sense of wonder while we wander and write. No prior experience necessary. Session will end with a tea circle. Michelle is a certified Shinrin Yoku/Forest Bathing Guide. Her passion is helping people slow down and become more connected to the themselves and the moment. WHEN: Saturday, June 6 TIME: 9:30am-12noon (meeting time 9:20am) WHERE: Institute of Nature Study, Meguro COST: ¥3800 ($25USD) per person; payable by credit card online at time of registration PLEASE NOTE: This event will be rescheduled if there is rain. Participants will be notified the evening prior by email and offered a refund or the option to join the rescheduled date.
